I believe to “Do Good with Tech” means accepting and adapting to a constantly changing world. History shows that rejecting new technological advancements isn't an option if you want to stay relevant and effective, so it is important to be willing to learn and grow as things change, which is especially applicable today given the prominence of AI. It has begun improving and integrating with all aspects of life, so it is critical to learn how to utilize AI to solve meaningful problems, improve people's lives, and deliver better outcomes for the clients and communities we serve.
The words I would use to describe how I do my job are engaged, exploratory, and effective.
Engaged represents how my work is not only properly planned and executed efficiently, but also includes the social aspect of my job. I can easily collaborate with others, give and receive guidance, and understand how to navigate a project timeline.
Exploratory represents the curious side to my work, my love for learning, and the fact that I understand my initial way of doing things may not be the best. I set my ego aside and look at all options of how to complete my work and am never afraid to ask questions.
Effective represents the final product of my work. It is polished and meets the requirements of the ask. It also shows how my work can be understood by others; clients and coworkers both know what I have done and will feel positive results from my efforts.
In my role, I am most passionate about the learning culture that F2 Strategy fosters. Since joining, I have been a sponge absorbing how clients operate, navigating our internal systems, and tackling the complexities of Geneva. Beyond project work, I am actively encouraged to develop new skills on my own initiative, whether that's pursuing AWS or Claude certifications or exploring new Python libraries for future internal use. What makes this culture so energizing is the compounding effect it creates: I expand my knowledge, and F2 gains a sharper, more versatile team member capable of bringing even more value to current and future clients.
