Andrew Jacob is a Senior Consultant at F2 Strategy. Andrew brings a well-rounded data management and digital transformation perspective to F2 Strategy’s global portfolio of clients. His experience spans investment technology providers, advisors, asset managers, and asset owners, with expertise in front-office operations, data governance, data management, and FactSet performance integrations. He works across AI & Machine Learning, Data & Digital Transformation, Asset Managers, and Asset Owners, helping organizations solve complex business and data challenges. Prior to joining F2 Strategy, Andrew spent nearly a decade at Vanguard, where he managed front-office data, led data governance initiatives, and helped implement Collibra across investment teams. He also holds Snowflake badge certifications and brings experience in SQL, cloud-based data warehousing, and enterprise data strategy.

Based in the Philadelphia area, Andrew enjoys coaching soccer, volunteering in his community, landscaping, baking, playing guitar, and growing fruits and vegetables.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

Invest equally in technical expertise and interpersonal skills. Learn the fundamentals of the business while developing empathy, active listening, and communication skills that build trust and lasting relationships. Just as importantly, embrace AI by using it to solve real business problems rather than simply learning about it. The professionals who combine strong technical knowledge, effective use of AI, and meaningful relationships will be best positioned for long-term success.
