Bob is a Senior Consultant with more than 23 years of experience helping financial services organizations solve complex business and technology challenges through data analysis, business intelligence, and investment management technology. He specializes in data management, systems analysis, data transformation, and process improvement, enabling clients to turn data into actionable information that supports growth and better decision-making.

Bob partners with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for transformation, improve data quality, and implement solutions that enhance operational effectiveness. His experience spans data migrations, performance system conversions, business requirements analysis, reporting platforms, and enterprise data initiatives. He is known for helping clients challenge the status quo and uncover insights that lead to more efficient and reliable processes.

Based in Southeast Massachusetts, Bob enjoys spending time making music and currently plays bass and sings in multiple bands. He recently traveled to Paris with his family and is passionate about lifelong learning, both professionally and personally.  

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?  

If you're just starting out, focus on developing a mindset of continuous learning. Technology, platforms, and ways of working will keep changing throughout your career, often at an accelerating pace. While technical skills are important, adaptability and curiosity are what will help you stay relevant and continue growing. The tools may change, but the ability to learn and embrace change will always be valuable.  

What are you most passionate about in your role?  

I'm passionate about using data to solve business problems and uncover insights that might otherwise be missed. I enjoy digging into patterns and anomalies to find the root cause of issues, especially when the answer isn't immediately obvious. I also take pride in helping clients look at familiar challenges from a different angle and rethink "the way we've always done things." Success for me means leaving both the data and the processes that rely on it in a better state than when I arrived.  

Who or what inspires you in your job?  

What inspires me most is the opportunity to solve complex problems through data. I enjoy identifying patterns, investigating anomalies, and uncovering insights that help organizations make better decisions. At the same time, I never lose sight of the fact that the data often represents real people and important life goals, such as retirement and education savings. Knowing that better data and better processes can lead to better outcomes is what makes the work so rewarding.
