He brings comprehensive knowledge of alternative investment accounting, reconciliation, securities valuation, reporting, and fund conversions, along with expertise in complex fund accounting processes, accounting systems (FIS/Eagle ace), and policy and procedure development.
Chris has a strong track record of building and leading teams to improve operational efficiency and successfully onboard new processes, technologies, and daily workflows. His experience includes business and risk analysis, master cart of accounts design and mapping, and developing scalable solutions across alternative investment operations.
Chris previously served as Vice President of Alternative Investment Accounting at BNY Mellon, where he was responsible for month-end close processes for clients representing over $255 billion in AUM. In addition, he oversaw nightly valuation across all funds, including daily liquidity funds, and supported year-end audits, tax reporting, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
While at BNY Mellon, Chris also played a critical leadership role in onboarding a client with over $100 billion in AUM. Following the transition, he led efforts to support the lift-out of the client’s middle-office and helped establish a shadow comparison process with a new administrator.
Chris is based in Boston.
There are less people doing more work. Clients want more for less and everyone is under pressure to keep costs low. It is more essential than ever to implement standardization everywhere you can.
Curious, Productive, Efficient.
When I came to F2 my hope was to work with motivated people who I could learn from and grow my career. In turn my hope was to teach others what I know and help them grow as well. I am happy to say that has been my experience.
