Former founder and CEO of Oakbrook Solutions, Craig Cook has over 40 years of experience in technology-based solutions for wealth management providers and the asset-management industry. His professional career was focused on new product development and support for trust systems, investment management systems, and proprietary systems.
Craig's experience includes Wachovia Bank, Bank of America, independent consulting, and then building, growing, and enabling Oakbrook Solutions to become part of F2 Strategy. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Evident Financial (Erie based RIA) and ProTrustee, a software startup based in Charleston, SC.
Having participated in technology in the wealth space has given me a front row seat to change. The biggest change would be the shift from an application focused view into an enterprise data view. Data indeed rules the day.
The access to cost effective, quality data enables clients to create efficiencies, better client experiences, and run their businesses more effectively.
Client experience will be re-imagined and will include AI, voice recognition, workflow enablement, and video. In addition, new investment products embracing private equity and other new asset classes will be more mainstream and delivered more cost effectively.
