Dan is Senior Managing Director, Co-head of Asset Management at F2 Strategy. In this role, he leads strategic growth initiatives, client relationships, business development, and talent strategy across the firm's asset management consulting practice. As a Founding Partner of Aliter Investment Services, Dan played a pivotal role in building one of the industry's leading investment operations consulting firms prior to its acquisition by F2 Strategy.

A recognized leader in the investment management industry, Dan brings more than 25 years of experience advising asset managers, pension funds, asset servicers, and offshore fund organizations. He has worked globally with many of the world's largest investment firms, helping organizations modernize operating models, implement technology solutions, navigate complex transformation initiatives, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Known for his collaborative approach and deep industry expertise, Dan has led major investment services outsourcing engagements and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams navigating operational transformation and long-term growth initiatives.

Dan lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts, with his wife and two daughters. He previously served for 10 years on the Board of the Expect Miracles Foundation, supporting its mission to advance cancer research and provide financial assistance to families affected by cancer.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?  

Embrace new ideas and technology, pursue the CFA designation, take the time to fully understand the investment life-cycle, network non-stop, be more present in-person and less remote.

What are you most passionate about in your role at Aliter? 

Creating a community of highly talented, driven, and fantastic people who are loyal teammates and genuinely like each other while achieving lofty goals is my true passion as a Founder. Toasting another successful year at the annual Aliter holiday party with our team and spouses is the most rewarding and fulfilling day of the year.

Who or what inspires you in your job? 

I am inspired by great business leaders and entrepreneurs. Jamie Dimon, JPM CEO, is someone who I pay attention to regularly and apply his strategies and methods in my leadership role at Aliter…also anyone who starts a business from scratch and takes that leap of faith/risk is truly inspirational and drives me to have more, creativity, fun, and success in business and in life.
