David Raza is a Senior Consultant at F2 Strategy with eight years of experience supporting investment operations, derivatives processing, and transformation initiatives for asset management and global financial institutions. He specializes in derivatives and collateral operations, helping clients improve processes, resolve complex operational challenges, and successfully navigate large-scale implementations.

Coming from Meradia, David brings a strong foundation in over-the-counter derivatives, trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, testing, and operational oversight. He has also held positions at Northern Trust, BNY Mellon, and TD Cowen, where he managed derivative portfolios, supported strategic clients, executed corporate actions, and led process improvement initiatives. His experience with multiple operating models gives him a practical understanding of the challenges of balancing operational efficiency, risk management, and evolving business demands.

David, who lives in the Philadelphia Metro Area, enjoys playing pickleball, and following his beloved Miami sports teams. An avid traveler, David took a year-long career break to backpack abroad and has visited more than 30 countries and 30 U.S. states.

What has changed the most since you started out in the industry?

The biggest change I've seen since starting my career has been the introduction of AI into the workplace. Tasks that once required hours of manual effort, such as research, analysis, documentation, and drafting, can now be completed much more efficiently. This allows me to spend more time on critical thinking and delivering greater value. Looking back, I often think about how much more productive I could have been if these tools had been available earlier in my career.

Who or what inspires you in your job?

I draw the most inspiration from my wife, family, and friends. Their unwavering support and belief in me throughout my life and career motivate me to keep growing and doing my best every day. Knowing that my hard work makes them proud brings me so much joy and purpose. I'm also inspired by my coworkers at F2. I have the opportunity to work alongside incredibly talented, supportive, and knowledgeable people, and I've learned so much from their willingness to share their expertise and help others succeed.
