Ed has over 25 years of experience in the Asset Management industry with an emphasis on investment operations, data management operations, enterprise data transformation, outsourcing, technical strategy, and operating model transformation. Ed has extensive experience leading project teams through complex efforts as well as running global data operational teams in large-scale asset servicing and asset management firms. Each transformational effort's success is defined by capturing the business requirements, aligning requirements to deliverables, building a plan to achieve the deliverables, aligning the team to execute, and providing solid communication to project constituents. Ed excels at leading teams, coaching/mentoring/motivating, and guiding efforts from inception to completion.
Ed resides in Pittsburgh, PA. Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, watching his daughters play college softball, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the black and gold.
Be inquisitive, listen, and learn. Never be afraid to ask questions; there is no such thing as a stupid question. There is so much to understand about this industry, so continue to educate yourself by learning from others.
Clearly, the technology. Technology continues to evolve at such a fast rate to enable efficiencies, faster results, and vast exposure to data. Continuing to understand how technology can aid and assist firms in the industry is imperative.
Working with people to achieve a common goal and/or solution is what inspires me.
