Gayle is a Director on the Asset Management Team at F2 Strategy with over 25 years of experience across custody, fund accounting, corporate actions, securities valuation, risk management, and audit oversight. She is known for strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, and is recognized as a committed and collaborative business partner who consistently delivers strong business results.

For several years, Gayle has served in a leadership role focused on firm operations, working closely with partners and overseeing HR, talent acquisition, financial reporting, vendor management, client support, and the internal team. She is also focused on the strategy and growth of the firm and is dedicated to mentoring and developing colleagues through impactful learning experiences.

Gayle held senior management positions at a global service provider, where she led high-risk accounting conversions, fund mergers, and startups for top-tier asset managers by ensuring a deep understanding of client goals, priorities, and servicing requirements. She also spearheaded global technology initiatives to streamline accounting and custody processing, reducing risk and increasing efficiency. In addition, she led the development of automated corporate action solutions and partnered with business units to realign operating models and fully realize the benefits of straight-through processing.

Gayle has been recognized for leadership and client service excellence and remains actively involved in mentoring and community initiatives. Gayle is based in Boston. Outside of work, she enjoys the theater, concerts, the beach and traveling with family and friends.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

I would say to be willing to learn as much as possible and be physically present in the office as much as possible.  This allows you to build relationships quicker, observe how more experienced professionals operate, and learn through informal conversations and interactions that don't happen virtually.  It's also important to remain flexible and open-minded. Every project, assignment, and challenge is an opportunity to gain new skills and valuable experience.  And finally, showing initiative can set you apart.  Volunteer for committees, special projects, and additional responsibilities whenever possible.  Not only does this demonstrate a strong work ethic, but it also helps you expand your network, increase your visibility within the organization, and gain exposure to different aspects of the business

I strive to be efficient in completing tasks, thorough in ensuring first time accuracy and quality, and helpful in supporting colleagues and clients which will allow them to achieve positive outcomes and reach their individual and collective goals.              

What are you most passionate about in your role at F2 Strategy?

What I am most passionate about in my role is helping people grow in their careers and supporting my colleagues in delivering successful outcomes for our clients.  One of the most rewarding parts of my job is working with team members as they develop new skills, take on greater responsibilities, and progress in their professional journeys.  I enjoy mentoring, sharing knowledge, and helping others navigate challenges so they can reach their full potential.  Seeing individuals gain confidence, advance in their careers, and reach milestones they have worked hard to achieve is incredibly fulfilling.  I am also passionate about enabling my colleagues to succeed in their client engagements.  Whether it's providing guidance, helping solve complex problems, or serving as a resource when challenges arise, I take pride in contributing to the success of both our teams and our clients.
