Based in Toronto, Greg is a Senior Consultant at Intelligo with more than a decade of experience supporting and transforming investment operations and technology platforms at leading Canadian asset management firms.

Greg has held roles at Guardian Capital Group and CI Global Asset Management, where he led and supported initiatives spanning portfolio management, trading, operations, data, and investment technology. At Guardian, he oversaw the implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution across the firm’s institutional and wealth management divisions, working closely with front office, Compliance, and Operations teams to redesign workflows and integrate data and technology solutions.

Greg currently leads the delivery phase of a major investment technology transformation at CIBC Global Asset Management, implementing Eagle Investment Book of Record (IBOR) to modernize its investment infrastructure. He led the discovery phase and now serves as Project Manager, coordinating Intelligo, BNY, and CIBC teams and overseeing deliverables, scope, and timelines. G

reg is a CFA charterholder with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours Finance) from DePaul University in Chicago. Outside of work, he spends most of his time with his two young daughters and enjoys golfing and cooking.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the wealth or asset management industry today?

Be curious and absorb information like a sponge. There is a tremendous amount to learn in wealth and asset management, and the more you understand how the different parts of the industry connect, the more valuable you can become. I’d also encourage people to be adaptable and embrace change. Technology, regulations, investment products, and operating models are constantly evolving, so being open to learning new things and adjusting to change is critical. The industry will continue to evolve, and those who are willing to keep learning and growing alongside it will be well positioned for the future.

What are you most passionate about in your role at F2 Strategy?

I’m passionate about growing into a broader leadership role within F2 Strategy and helping build the business even further. I enjoy the project work and solving complex problems for our clients, but I’m also excited by the opportunity to grow beyond individual engagements—to lead teams, build and strengthen client relationships, connect clients with the right expertise across the firm, and help identify new opportunities where we can create value. Ultimately, I’d like to become an operator within the business, taking greater responsibility for a part of the firm and contributing not only through the work I deliver, but also by developing people, growing client relationships, and generating new business. I’m excited by the opportunity to grow alongside F2 Strategy and play a meaningful role in its long-term success.

Who or what inspires you in your work?

I’m a problem solver at heart, so I’m most inspired by seeing a client go from having a difficult or complex problem to having a clear, practical solution. I enjoy understanding how a client’s systems and operational workflow's function, identifying opportunities to improve them, and working collaboratively to implement those improvements. Ultimately, seeing our solutions make our clients’ businesses more efficient and effective is what motivates me.

Do you have a secret talent, skill, or fun fact that most people don't know about?

I really enjoy cooking and especially like trying new recipes and techniques to see what works. I’m always looking for something new to make, and I enjoy experimenting with different ingredients and putting my own spin on recipes. Cooking for family and friends is probably when I enjoy it most.
