Jake Daly-Leonard
Jake Daly-Leonard is a Manager at F2 Strategy. He has 14 years of experience across investment operations, derivatives, collateral management, and investment technology. Prior to joining Meradia, Jake was at Vanguard where he helped drive platform enhancements, regulatory initiatives, product integrations, and operational improvements supporting both cleared and OTC derivatives businesses.
He lives in the Philadelphia Metro Area. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, smoking barbecue, playing piano, guitar, and drums, and collecting vinyl records. He also serves as Co-Chair of the ISITC Derivatives Working Group and volunteers at a local food pantry.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?
Learn a little bit about many different things, discover what you're passionate about, then learn as much as you can about your passion. Volunteer for as much as you can early in your career, as this will give you exposure to different areas. Once you discover your passion, get involved in industry groups to build your network and gain exposure to issues beyond your firm.

What are you most passionate about in your role?
I love solving problems and developing proofs of concept. It saves time with developers when you can write concise requirements and also demonstrate how something can be done. This helps accelerate solutions and reduces discussions around feasibility.
