Having served as Chief Wealth Architect and Directory of Investment Management Systems at Wilmington Trust for more than 20 years, his specific focus has been on the intersection of business and technology. At Oakbrook Solutions he engaged in a variety of work from strategic technology assessments to implementation projects to technological architectural design delivering technology solutions for HNW and Institutional clients. What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

Be willing to learn and be flexible—the only constant is change, be prepared for it.  

Predict the future - what do you think WealthTech will allow advisors to do in five years that they can’t do now?

I think they’ll be able to facilitate more analytic/quantitative decisions based on machine learning algorithms.

What does the phrase, “Do Good with Tech” mean to you?

Providing solutions aimed at accomplishing real objectives as opposed to technology for tech sake or because it’s cool.
