Josh Gerwick, CFA, CIPM, is a Manager at F2 Strategy with 17 years of experience across investment operations, performance measurement, analytics, and operational transformation. He helps asset managers modernize performance, risk, and reporting capabilities while improving the quality, scalability, and effectiveness of their operating models.

Joining F2 from Meradia, Josh brings deep expertise in performance measurement and analytics, with a particular focus on FactSet solutions and performance operating models. He has led initiatives ranging from data quality assessments and system implementations to enterprise-wide performance modernization programs. Josh is known for his willingness to dive into the details, helping clients define effective strategies, optimize configurations, and successfully navigate large-scale change. His ability to translate complex concepts into practical, actionable solutions has made him a trusted advisor to clients. Prior to joining Meradia, Josh oversaw investment reporting, performance measurement, middle office, and data administration functions at BNP Paribas Securities Services.  

Outside of work, Josh enjoys reading, exercising, tackling DIY home projects with his wife, and exploring North American destinations. He also lived in Australia for three months and can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute. He lives in the Philadelphia Metro Area.

Be on time. Be prepared. Do the things you say you'll do. Those three actions will set you apart quickly.

What has changed the most since you started out in the industry?

Performance was much more rudimentary. I can't imagine how I would've handled a request for daily performance attribution back then.

What personal or professional motto best reflects your approach to life or work?

Spend less time explaining why we can't and more time figuring out how we can.
