What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

Embrace change and technology: Technology is evolving quickly. The more comfortable you are with tools, data, and process improvement, the more valuable you’ll become.

Ask questions and build relationships: Show people you care about your work but just as importantly that you care about them. The relationships you build early on will help you immensely as you move through your career.

What has changed the most since you started out in the industry?

The biggest change, without question, has been technology.  When I first started, almost every process was manual, and data was harder to access.  The more experienced people always had the higher level jobs.  Now the people who understand technology and data and how to best utilize it rise fast in organizations.

Who or what inspires you in your job?

As I’ve grown in my career, I’ve realized how important it is to work for an organization that truly values its people. Being part of a company that invests in its employees—whether through opportunities to learn, develop new skills, or advance professionally—is incredibly motivating. That kind of environment not only drives personal growth but also creates a culture where people are engaged and committed to doing their best work.

I’m also inspired by the opportunity to continuously learn. Whether it’s gaining new knowledge, adapting to evolving technologies, or expanding my skill set, that sense of growth keeps the work dynamic and rewarding.
