Martin Ouellette is Managing Director and Head of Trading & Investment Operations, Asset Management at F2 Strategy. Joining from Meradia, he has 30 years of experience with operating model modernization, investment accounting, enterprise data platforms, and front-to-back technology transformations for asset managers and asset owners.

Martin leads the Trading & Investment Operations Practice, helping clients navigate complex transformational initiatives ranging from investment accounting modernization and operating model redesign to enterprise data platform implementations. He is known for his client-focused approach, deep industry knowledge, and ability to guide firms through change while focusing on measurable business outcomes.

Prior to Meradia, he worked at Accenture, InvestTech Systems Consulting, ING Investment Management, and Eagle Investment Systems. His extensive experience spans investment operations, enterprise data architecture, outsourcing, portfolio management support, and technology strategy.

Martin is based in Atlanta. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and traveling throughout North America and beyond. A Massachusetts native, he's a loyal Boston sports fan.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

Never burn a bridge in this industry, never cross anyone, or claw your way up. This industry is too small, and you never know who will be sitting across from you deciding if you, or your firm should be part of the team.

What has changed the most since you started out in the industry?

Technology has advanced so much and it is crazy how different this industry is today, embrace technology and change!
