Pat Durant is a Consultant at F2 Strategy. He supports investment operations, business transformation, and technology-driven change initiatives for asset owners, wealth managers, and service providers. While at Meradia, Pat contributed to large-scale transformation programs, including operating model design and SimCorp implementation initiatives. He helps clients align people, processes, and technology to achieve meaningful business outcomes. Prior to joining Meradia, Pat supported institutional transitions, private banking platform conversions, and large-scale data migration programs at SEI. His experience managing multi-workstream initiatives allows him to bring structure and clarity to complex engagements while keeping teams focused on critical objectives.

Pat lives in West Chester, PA. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, marathon running, and spending time with family and friends. He is also an active supporter of Bringing Hope Home, an organization that assists families affected by cancer, and a dedicated Penn State and Philadelphia sports fan.

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

Focus on building strong relationships and developing a reputation for reliability. Technical skills are important, but clients and colleagues remember professionals who communicate clearly, solve problems, and follow through on commitments. Stay curious, keep learning, and be willing to take on challenging projects that expand your experience.

What are you most passionate about in your role?

I am most passionate about bringing people, processes, and goals together to successfully deliver projects. I enjoy creating structure out of complexity, keeping teams aligned, and ensuring initiatives stay on track from planning through execution. Seeing a project move from an idea to a successful outcome while helping stakeholders achieve their objectives is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

What personal or professional motto best reflects your approach to life or work?

One quote that closely reflects my approach is Kobe Bryant's: "Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses." I believe success is built through consistent effort, accountability, and a willingness to overcome challenges. Whether leading projects, supporting teams, or solving complex business problems, I focus on maintaining a strong work ethic and delivering results without losing sight of the bigger goal.
