Paul Brodhead is a Strategic Workflow Analyst at F2 Strategy. He helps banks, wealth management firms, and financial institutions redesign business processes, define future-state operating models, and improve reporting, analytics, governance, and operational performance. Paul specializes in process redesign, project and program management, operational excellence, and technology-enabled transformation. In his current role, he supports clients with current-state assessments, requirements definition, operating model design, technology and governance impact analysis, and implementation roadmaps. Prior to joining F2 Strategy, Paul led digital transformation, automation, and AI initiatives at enChoice and spent more than 15 years at MUFG Union Bank in operational excellence, process improvement, and operations leadership roles. Earlier in his career, he supported financial advisors and clients at Morgan Stanley.
Based in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, Paul studies Kung Fu, practices mindfulness, and writes about the intersection of operational excellence, continuous learning, and artificial intelligence, including his article The Belt Is Not the Point: What Earning a Black Belt Taught Me About Learning AI.
Focus on understanding the business problem before jumping to the technology solution. The professionals who make the biggest impact are the ones who can connect client needs, operational processes, and technology capabilities. We are most successful when we fully understand a process and its friction points and then select the tools that best support the solution.
To me, “Do Good with Tech” means using technology to solve meaningful problems for clients and employees. The best technology creates better experiences, reduces friction, and frees people to spend more time on work that adds value. The goal should be alignment among all stakeholders, including end users, clients, their customers, and F2, supported by proper governance, meaningful metrics, and continuous improvement.
I enjoy helping clients solve complex operational challenges and designing practical, sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and create a better experience for everyone.
