Margie has over 25 years of experience providing business process analysis and procedure development to financial services clients. Since starting in the consulting field in 1996, she has led project teams focused on process design as it relates a variety of initiatives including: control and risk assessments; current state assessments to identify process improvement opportunities; and business readiness related to system implementations or mergers and acquisitions. She has led teams that have a proven structured approach that collaboratively guides organizations through process analysis and design which leaves them with a robust documentation library and customized governance routines for process and change management and control identification for testing. Some recent clients Margie has worked with include MUFG Union Bank/US Bank, National Advisors Trust, SEI and Wells Fargo. She resides in Kansas.
Methodically, collaboratively and nimbly. The project approach I take is methodical but always collaborative because every client situation is unique and often requires quick adjustments along the way – so being nimble is key.
Antiquated systems and processes that are supporting financial services day-to-day operations create inefficiencies and control deficiencies that threaten their bottom line. I am excited about the ways technology can help organizations realize process efficiencies and mitigate risk by strengthening process controls and governance routines. Strong process governance is a must due to the rigid regulatory requirements facing the financial services industry.
I am inspired by improvement opportunities that lie within an organization’s process crevices. I LOVE facilitating collaborative process workshops that inherently expose process redundancy and risk AND aim to resolve and remediate those process gaps.
